As our import and export volumes continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Junior Executive to manage EXIM compliance, bonded warehouse operations, and regulatory frameworks.

Job Summary :

The Junior Executive – EXIM Compliance will be responsible for handling and maintaining documentation related to Bonded Warehouse/MOOWR operations and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The role involves close coordination with internal departments, external CHAs, and consultants to manage compliance trackers, clearances, and audits.

Key Responsibilities :

Bonded Warehouse & Ex-Bond Operations

Handle and maintain documentation related to Bonded Warehouse / MOOWR operations.

Coordinate and support the Ex-Bond process, including preparation and verification of Ex-Bond documentation, BOE filing coordination, duty calculation/payment follow-up, and customs clearance.

Maintain Bond-wise and BOE-wise records and ensure proper reconciliation of bonded imports and Ex-Bond clearances.

Monitor pending Ex-Bond BOEs and ensure timely follow-up for clearance and closure.

Regulatory & Compliance Tracking

Support MOOWR / IGCR compliance, including documentation, record maintenance, reconciliation, and periodic compliance requirements.

Assist in maintaining records for DGFT authorizations, licenses, and approvals and monitor validity/utilization.

Ensure proper maintenance of import/export compliance documents and records for audit and statutory requirements.

Maintain compliance trackers for MOOWR, Ex-Bond, DGFT, Customs, and other applicable regulatory activities.

Support Plastic Waste and E-waste compliance, including data collection, documentation, and coordination with consultants/vendors.

Keep track of applicable Customs/DGFT notifications, circulars, and regulatory changes and highlight relevant changes to the reporting manager.

Discrepancy & Audit Support

Assist in identifying discrepancies in HS codes, product descriptions, quantities, values, duty calculations, and supporting documents and escalate them to the reporting manager.

Ensure timely closure of compliance-related queries, discrepancies, and pending actions.

Support internal/external audits and Customs/DGFT inspections by providing required documents and records.

Stakeholder & External Coordination

Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Finance, Production, SCM, and Accounts for required compliance data and documentation.

Coordinate with external CHA, customs consultants, DGFT consultants, and other regulatory service providers.

Operational Support :

• Attend Customs, Shipping Line, CFS, and Port offices whenever required.
• Resolve operational issues to avoid demurrage, detention, port storage, and shipment delays.
• Maintain records of shipment activities and field visit reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Customs Clearance, CHA, Freight Forwarding, Shipping Line, or Port Operations.
• Good knowledge of Import & Export documentation and Customs procedures.
• Familiarity with ICEGATE, Shipping Lines, CFS operations, and Port processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Travel Requirement

• Primary work location will be Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Navi Mumbai.
• Daily travel to Customs House, CFSs, Shipping Line offices, Port Terminals, Transporters, and CHA offices will be required.
• The candidate may also be deputed to other Customs clearance locations across India as per business requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in handling high-volume import containers.
• Strong coordination skills with Government authorities and logistics partners.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Immediate joining will be preferred.
