Store Manager
Job Summary:
The Store Manager at Rayzon Solar will be responsible for managing the overall store operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials required for solar module manufacturing. The role requires strong inventory management, coordination with inter department and adherence to company policies to maintain a smooth supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent loss, damage, or pilferage.
- Ensure FIFO and LIFO principles are followed as per material requirements.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
2. Material Handling & Storage
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and systematic material organization.
- Ensure temperature-sensitive and fragile materials are stored under recommended conditions.
3. Procurement & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material replenishment.
- Follow up with vendors for on-time deliveries and resolve supply issues.
- Verify received materials for quality and quantity against purchase orders.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain records for audits, including material requisitions and return documents.
- Comply with company policies, safety standards, and ISO procedures.
5. Team Management & Training
- Supervise store staff and allocate work efficiently.
- Conduct training sessions on inventory management and safety measures.
- Monitor staff performance and provide necessary guidance.
6. ERP & System Management
- Ensure stock movements are recorded in the SAP system in real-time.
- Generate reports on stock levels and material forecasting.
- Suggest improvements for system automation and efficiency.
- Should have good knowledge about stock movement.
7. Coordination with Other Departments
- Work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Support the finance team in reconciling stock data for cost control.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 10 to 12 years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is required.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking software.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of safety regulations in warehouse operations.
Working Conditions:
- Based at the Rayzon Solar manufacturing plant.
- Requires physical presence in the store/warehouse environment.
- May involve working extended hours during peak production periods
