Rayzon Solar and IIT Bombay team celebrating MOU signing to boost solar energy innovation and research in India.

Rayzon Solar and IIT Bombay Sign Landmark MOU to Enhance Solar Technology Research and Innovation

Rayzon Solar, one of India’s front-runners in solar technology, and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to propel collaborative R&D, analysis, and ecosystem-building in the field of solar power generation.

The MoU, signed today at the IIT Bombay campus, is a momentous step in bridging industry proficiency with academic intelligence. It is a foundation laid to advance the frontiers of solar energy technology through mutual engagement in:

  • Knowledge Management: Initiate and advance the exchange of research insights and practical training to accelerate developments in solar engineering and science.
  • Joint Research Projects: Conducting collaborative programs aimed at innovating solar module design, automated manufacturing processes, and futuristic photovoltaic (PV) technologies.
  • Ecosystem Establishment: Building a robust and scalable platform to surface, nurture, and amplify new ideas, technologies, and ventures that drive green energy adoption globally.
  • Industry-Integrated Academic Projects: Facilitating M.Tech and Ph.D. students with hands-on opportunities to gain experience working on live industry projects, enhancing applied research and innovation capabilities.

This collaboration is strongly architected by the IIT Bombay Team and Rayzon Industries’ leadership — Mr. Chirag Nakrani and Mr. Hardik Kothiya, Founders of Rayzon Solar, alongside Mr. Amit Barve, CEO of the company. Their collective vision paves the way to drive technological brilliance for a sustainable future.

Expressing their views on the collaboration, the eminent teams of both institutions weighed the significance of having an intuitive connection between academia and industry to promote technological advancement in the industry. This partnership is destined not only to pace innovation in solar energy but also to empower the new generation of techies and researchers.

Rayzon Industries and IIT Bombay are committed to leveraging their combined strengths to discover and invent new possibilities in solar research, ecosystem creation, and sustainable technology development, setting a new milestone for industry-academia collaboration in India and around the globe.
